Here's an extract of the current work in progress. I'd appreciate people's thoughts/comments on whether it makes them want to read more. To get a copy of the PDF file click here http://www.savefile.com/files/328768
I started writing when I was eight (ahem) 26 years ago on my Mum's recently fixed typewriter. Back then I mostly wrote poems including: The man who spoke gobbledegook, and The day Spot escaped to the sanctuary of the bar - a poem about our dog running away.
Since giving birth in December 05, I've rekindled my dream of becoming a novellist, mostly because it'd give me the freedom to spend more time with my daughter, Amber and husband Mike.
